Flight Centre & PDT

PDT pride ourselves in building long-term business relationships with our clients. We consider our long-term clients business partners, working towards a common goal, delivering relevant and valued offers for their business. Since 2013 when PDT were engaged to design and deliver the Global Head Office Tower for Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), PDT and FCTG have enjoyed a continual partnership, collectively delivering a variety of projects across multiple brands.

This included the new concept design and development of their Flight Centre, Escape Travel and Travel Money retail stores. Reinventing the traditional travel agent and customer interaction and experience. PDT worked in partnership with the FCTG retail team setting up and implementing the roll out of the newly branded retail stores, delivering over 150+ stores nationally and internationally over the course of a year and a half.

In addition to the retail stores, upon completion of the FCTG Head Office in 2016, PDT have been involved in the continued design of their offices nationally.

These include the refurbishment works of the North Sydney Office (4 floors), Perth Office, Hobart Office and the recently under construction Melbourne Office Tower (6.5 floors).

Each of these offices took inspiration from the Head Office injecting the same design philosophy of creating a fun, engaging and flexible environment that echo Flight Centre’s “family, village, tribe” ethos.

It has been an amazing and fun journey for all those involved. We have continually challenged the local trades in building fit outs that are out of the norm and producing offices that have a cohesive language to the national FCTG brand and culture.

Never a dull moment, the success in this partnership comes down to remaining honest, agile and not afraid to have the necessary robust discussions, working hard and having a lot of fun and laughs along the way.
