About the Project

PDT were appointed to complete the design and documentation services for the accessibility upgrade to both Dinmore and Graceville Stations.

Working closely with Queensland Rail we were able to successfully manage the stations heritage considerations being the station building and the waiting area structure.
One of the main drivers of the design was to maintain clarity of vision through the space. This would ensure safety and ongoing surveillance of the area.
The works included raising of the platform, over bridge installations, subways and vertical transport across the tracks. These upgrades have significantly improved access for the commuters that use the station each year.
