About the Project

A vibrant, open, healthy and inclusive workplace created to meet the clients brief.

The design vision for Baulderstone’s Queensland Headquarters was to create a workspace that would drive commercial outcome through collaboration and a vibrant culture. The design showcases the client’s construction expertise, utilising traditional materials in a creative application and paying special attention to the finer details. A confident colour scheme was applied in a very refined and defined way. Bold abstract graphics where used to break up meeting room walls, visually narrating the company’s history.

In 2009 Baulderstone relocated the headquarters from Brisbane CBD to Kelvin Grove Urban Village.

Working closely with the client PDT provided a highly developed solution for Baulderstone by integrating corporate and construction based elements of the business into the fit out design.

The result was the creation of a staff friendly environment that encourages collaboration through the use of multiple staff break out zones, informal meeting nooks and a large café area with barbecues.
