A warm welcome.

2024 is shaping up to be another busy year for PDT. Not only on a variety of exciting projects but also with one office move already done and another set for later in the year. We are also thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our newest team member Filisha! We are excited to have her join our team, and we are confident that her unique skills will complement our existing team and contribute to our shared goal of delivering exceptional solutions and support to our valued clients. Get to know her a little bit more…

Filisha has joined us as an Interior Designer with experience in Commercial, Hospitality and Retail sectors in a fast-paced D&C environment.

Years in the industry?

What do you love about being an Interior Designer?

Being able to create spaces that has a positive impact on the way people experience and connect with space. I've always wanted to be in a profession where I could help people and make a difference. Interior Design gives me the opportunity and ability to transform spaces and impact the day-to-day life of a person.

What is one of your favourite projects you have worked on throughout your career so far?

My favourite project I have worked on so far is a fitout for Elizabeth Morgan House. A not-for-profit organisation that provides specialist support to Indigenous & Aboriginal Women and children including refuge accommodation, specialist family violence services, therapeutic support, and support within the justice system to uphold and defend their rights to live a life free from violence. This was the most rewarding project I have worked on as I was not only able to design a safe space for these wonderful women, but also through design create spaces that encourage training, educational and social events to advocate for the cause. I was the lead interior designer on this project and was able to build a great client relationship. This project defines why I wanted to become an Interior Designer.

Fun fact about yourself? I love a little bit of adventure and thrill! I've jumped off a bridge twice and once off a plane.

“I feel so grateful to be a part of the PDT Team. From the moment I stepped foot into the PDT office, I was welcomed as if I was being welcomed into a family. The culture is amazing where no one holds back to offer assistance and treats everyone with respect, integrity and kindness. I absolutely love being a part of this amazing team.”
