The Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC) is Queensland’s premier equestrian facility over a vast 30-hectare site. It is highly accessible with world class facilities including grass and sand warmup areas, new stables and wash bays.

PDT Architects was commissioned to produce a 10-year masterplan and design the new State Equestrian Centre in Caboolture. The client’s vision was to establish Queensland’s first international-standard indoor equestrian facility that attract regular international and national equestrian events, music festivals, concerts, trade shows and other major events.

Stage one of this vision was achieved by producing a design that promotes accessibility and provides an international sized arena with seating for over 3,000 spectators. QSEC also has state of the art audio, access to lock up storage and food + beverage areas adding to the venue’s appeal for events such as concerts, retail and trade shows.
