About the Project

PDT produced the master plan, design and documentation for a quality learning environment to serve prep to year 12 co-education.

The college campus design was  developed and procured over several stages  with Stage 1  designed and constructed within a 10 month period.
The college theme “Learning Pathways to the Future”, is reflected in the master plan with 3 defined  learning precincts - junior school, junior secondary and senior secondary  sub-schools, with an integrated special education facilities for student learning support.

I would personally like to acknowledge the collaborative approach of your team in working with myself to ensure Education Queensland’s college philosophy was embedded even I the fine detail such as colour and furniture choice. Visitors form all sectors are also very impressed.

The College  commenced operation in 2002 to meet the educational needs of the rapidly growing northern gold coast area.

Master Plan design of this 3 phase learning campus enables students and the school community to develop personal ongoing relationships that can be fostered within a single supportive and flexible campus, with well appointed facilities,  focused learning areas, and landscaped outdoor precincts.

The college design utilizes a central spine walkway to link these school learning precincts with shared core facilities, including information services centre, music and performance facilities, design and technology, creative industry, and sport and recreation areas.

The master plan has allowed for growth by incorporating staging provisions for a future senior school classrooms, staff facilities and indoor multipurpose hall.
