Following on from the successful reference design, established in consultation with Queensland Rail as part of the Tranche 4 project suite, PDT have been engaged under the contractor for delivery of the Burpengary Station Accessibility Upgrade. PDT have assisted the awarded contractor in development of construction documentation and delivery of the station upgrades over the duration of the contracted construction program.

Burpengary Station works include; a new footbridge with lift access, Improved accessible parking, raised platforms, upgraded hearing augmentation loops and tactiles, upgraded security and lighting, new signage and wayfinding, accessible amenities and ticket windows, improved seating and extended platform shelters, and new station office and facilities.
